The Packaging Startup Awards: Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms & Conditions ("T&Cs") apply to all participants of The Packaging Startup Awards ("the Awards"), an initiative of ThePackHub ("the Organizer"). By participating in the Awards, entrants agree to abide by these T&Cs.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Awards are open to packaging startups that are privately owned, not listed on any stock exchange, and not a subsidiary of any company.

2.2 Entrants must have introduced or have developed a packaging innovation or significant packaging improvement to the market.

2.3 Entrants must have been in operation for less than five years as of the date of submission.

3. Submission

3.1 Entries must be submitted through the official online entry form provided by the Organizer.

3.2 Each entry should provide detailed information about the entrant’s packaging innovation.

3.3 Entrants may submit multiple innovations, but each must be submitted as a separate entry.

3.4 Entries must be received by the specified closing date. Late entries may not be accepted.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 Entrants warrant that they are the sole owner of all intellectual property rights to their packaging innovation and that the innovation does not infringe on the rights of any third parties.

4.2 Entrants will retain all intellectual property rights in their innovation; however, by entering the Awards, entrants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, and reproduce the entries for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes.

5. Judging

5.1 Entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by the Organizer. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the decision.

5.2 The judging panel reserves the right to request additional information or clarification from entrants if necessary.

6. Awards

6.1 The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on a specified date. Winners not in attendance will be notified via email.

6.2 Awards are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

7. Disqualification

7.1 The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who is found to be in breach of these T&Cs or who engages in any unlawful or improper conduct.

8. Liability

8.1 Entrants participate in the Awards at their own risk. The Organizer is not responsible for any damages, losses, or expenses that may be incurred in connection with participation in the Awards.

9. Amendments The Organizer reserves the right to modify these T&Cs, the Awards, or any aspect of them at any time.

10. Governing Law

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the country in which the Organizer is based.

By entering the Awards, entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these T&Cs.
